Frequently Asked Questions
Can my table be next to a friend?
You’re welcome to request adjacency in your application notes. Final positions are confirmed in the vendor hall map emailed closer to the event; requests can’t be guaranteed, but we will try our best!
Can I apply for a half table?
No - Kollecter Kon offers standard full tables (trestle table) and booths. You can book up to 3 tables (10% off when booking 2+; max 3).
What’s included in an exhibitor package?
• Table: standard-size table, 1 chair, 2 exhibitor passes.
• Booth: empty shell (no chairs included) with 3 exhibitor passes.
Add-ons available: chairs $5, power (for booths) $55, extra tables (for booths) $45 each, extra exhibitor passes $25 (max 2 per booking).
Can I share a full table with a friend?
One vendor/business per table or booth. You can add extra exhibitors to help staff your space by purchasing additional passes, but it remains a single vendor booking.
I’m selling something other than illustrations - can I still apply?
Yes - Kollecter Kon welcomes independent sellers of singles/rarities and retailers with full storefronts of TCG and collectibles. Counterfeits are prohibited and may be subject to random checks; 18+ material must be displayed responsibly under Australian Law.
Vendor selection criteria?
Space is limited and bookings are not guaranteed until full payment is received. Applications must comply with event rules (e.g., no counterfeit goods, safety compliance, one vendor per booking, ABN for businesses).
Why might an application be unsuccessful?
Common reasons include capacity limits, incomplete or non-compliant applications (e.g., stock authenticity concerns, safety/electrical tagging issues), or missed payment deadlines.
What is the waitlist and how do I get off it?
If spaces fill, organisers may offer openings to next-in-line applicants should spots become available. (If a waitlist is used, communication will come via the vendor liaison email.)
Do I need to submit public liability insurance with my application?
Kollecter Kon carries event PLI, but vendors must carry their own insurance for stock and stall setups. Keep documentation handy; you may be asked to provide proof.
Do tables come with backboards/backdrops?
No - backdrops aren’t provided, but they’re strongly encouraged. Signage must be free-standing or safely secured; don’t stick anything to venue walls.
Do tables come with backboards/backdrops?
Kollecter Kon uses a vendor application (not a juried artist-alley portfolio). You’ll confirm your booking and can upload a logo/product photos/banners for potential promotion - sharing is at the organisers’ discretion.
